Volunteer positions

Gates: Enthusiastically greet guests at one of four entrances.  There is no cost to get in to the event but outside beverages and coolers are not allowed into the permitted festival zone.  Volunteers are needed to politely ask guests to finish their drinks before they come in and/or send people back to their cars with coolers to ensure that outside beverages do not enter the event.  Provide direction to port-o-lets, ID checking stations, cup purchases and answer questions as they arise. As guests are leaving, thank them for coming and ensure that all beverages are disposed of prior to anyone leaving the event.

ID Check/Wristband/Beverage Ticket Purchase Station: Enthusiastically greet guests at one of two ID Check stations.  Guests interested in purchasing alcoholic beverages are required to be age 21 or older.  Volunteers are needed to check photo ID’s and put wristbands on those who meet the age requirement, plus sell wristbands and souvenir cups.  Tickets for alcoholic beverages are also sold here.  Volunteers must be comfortable using an iPad for credit card transactions.  Tickets are sold for $1.00, each.  Volunteers are required to be age 21 or older in this role.

Beer and Signature Drink Station: Enthusiastically greet guests, take each guests’ order and fill their cup with the beverage of their choice.  Collect the applicable quantity of tickets represented on the signs.  Guests have a limit of 2 drinks/person/purchase and are required to have a wristband to purchase alcohol.  Volunteers are required to be age 21 or older in this role and be comfortable in politely refusing service to anyone who appears intoxicated.
